Mike began his dance life in the salsa world learning from the area’s top instructors. He quickly advanced as a social dancer, and his passion expanded to other forms of salsa, including Rueda de Casino, a unique form of salsa that combines partnered patterns with group moves. He also enjoys and excels in other forms of dance including Bachata, Merengue, Cha-Cha-Cha, Hand Dance, West Coast Swing and Hustle. Mike teaches weekly Salsa classes and has performed with local dance teams. He is an organizer of the Baltimore Salsa Meetup, an online community of experienced and aspiring salsa dancers. Mike is also a Hand Dance instructor for Love To Dance Productions, and teaches weekly classes at the Promenade Dancesport Facility. Outside of his dance interests, Mike is an Executive Health Sciences Manager with a multinational healthcare organization . He is a loving father who also enjoys playing piano, cooking, travel and gourmet dining.
